Restaurants/Lounges ~ Laid back blues or a mix of blues and jazz to provide a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. For "house gigs" the band will incorporate a number of musical guests during the contract.
Corporate Events ~ Depending on the format your event needs the band will provide headline entertainment or background music, with your choice of musical styles, blues, blues & classic rock mix, blues & jazz mix, or jazz standards. The band performed for a black tie Corporate Event at the Museum of Civilization providing a well received jazz quintet for the evening.
Private Parties ~ High energy electric blues infused with classic party songs and your favourite tune requests can be added to the mix. Birthday parties are always a lot of fun!
Festivals ~ Shakedown Groove puts on a high energy show featuring a mixture of well known and current blues material, original music, excellent arrangements performed with a high level of musicianship and good fun.
Concerts ~The band is prepared for concert hall situations and will create an interesting and entertaining program for the evening. Shakedown Groove performed a "history of the blues" show to a full house for the Rideau Canal Museum Concert Series in Smiths Falls.
